Destination 杏吧原创: New Student Orientation
Destination 杏吧原创 is a required New Student Orientation program that helps first-time freshmen and transfer students begin to acclimate to life as a 杏吧原创 scholar. This one-day program begins with check-in from 8:15-8:45 a.m. and concludes by 4:30 p.m.
The program is designed to help students begin to make connections with their peers and learn valuable information about academics and student life at 杏吧原创. Students and families will attend sessions with 杏吧原创 faculty and staff to learn about campus resources.
Destination 杏吧原创 Commitment:
- Introduce students to 杏吧原创 services that will support their educational and personal goals.
- Allow students to gain awareness of the academic advising system and gain a connection to faculty advisors.
- Help students become familiar with the 杏吧原创 campus community and reaffirm their decision to attend 杏吧原创.
- Answer outstanding questions about the transition to 杏吧原创 and outline expectations for students.
