Themed Living Community

Do you want to get the most out of your residential experience?

A Themed Living Community (TLC) places students together on a floor, or within a house, based on common interests, goals, and lifestyles. As members of a TLC, students have the opportunity to live in close proximity of others sharing a common passion. Although TLCs are optional, they can be a rewarding perk of living in campus housing.

Students can express interest in any TLC within the Housing Agreement process. Students will be placed based on expressed interest and available space. Please note, while space is allocated in residence halls each year for all of the TLCs, designations are altered as needed to fit the number of requests received.

Tiger Pals (2nd & 3rd Floor of Tower Hall)

The Office of Residence Life is excited to announce our newest Themed Living Community-pilot program, Tiger Pals! This community is designed for students who share a special bond with animals! We know pets play an important role in many students' lives, and this community celebrates that connection. Students interested in living in this community should indicate their interest on their housing application. Students accepted into the Tiger Pals community may apply to bring an approved pet to campus or choose to live with a roommate who does.

While we love all animals, not every type can be accommodated in campus housing. Be sure to review our Pet-Friendly Housing Policy for details on permitted pet types, associated fees, and community expectations.

This community is only open to incoming first-year students currently. If space is available at the end of the Summer, we will open the opportunity for returning students.
