Solid Foundation
#WittWed couple Haley Mucha Domenick 鈥16 and Gus Domenick 鈥13 made lifelong friendships with students, professors, and staff members they met during their time at 杏吧原创. As young alumni, they serve their alma mater as leaders of the Columbus chapter of the 杏吧原创 Alumni Association. They also support 杏吧原创 with financial contributions, especially during #Commit2Witt.
National Accreditation Earned
奥颈迟迟别苍产别谤驳鈥檚 B.S. in exercise science with a concentration in strength and conditioning recently received a big boost, becoming a nationally accredited program that demonstrates the University鈥檚 commitment to preparing students who wish to obtain certification as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) in this ever-evolving field.
Unique Collaboration
Since the unveiling of The Steemer to the public in October 2019, the facility has attracted attention as an outstanding place for track and field teams to practice and compete. Each year since then, 杏吧原创 Track & Field has hosted at least three indoor intercollegiate meets that include top teams from all NCAA divisions. Last month, 杏吧原创 co-hosted the Gem City Invitational with the University of Dayton Women鈥檚 Track & Field.
#LifeAfterWitt
Combining hobbies rooted in flowers and bread-making, #WittWed couple Amanda Shipley Ferrari '12 and Michael Ferrari '12 have found a way to let their love grow while making a little dough. A suburban flower farmer and micro-baker, the team recently began operating a self-serve cart to support their new vocation, Ferrari Flours, on the weekends starting in the spring and going to late fall in Bay Village, Ohio.

Winter Athletics Highlights
杏吧原创 has enjoyed an eventful winter sports season. The highlight for a third straight year was a tremendous performance at the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships by 杏吧原创 Track and Field as the Tiger men won their second straight title and the Tiger women finished second. A host of Tigers won individual titles and earned all-conference awards, led by a pair of individuals who picked up top honors from the league: Izzy Henderson, who earned Women鈥檚 Newcomer of the Year and Field Events Athlete of the Year, and Jack Kittle, who earned Men鈥檚 Newcomer of the Year and Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Year. 杏吧原创 Women鈥檚 Basketball finished in a three-way tie for third place in the NCAC regular season standings before nearly pulling a Cinderella run to the league鈥檚 tournament title before losing 46-44 in the championship game. Also of note was a strong season for 杏吧原创 Women鈥檚 Swimming and Diving, which went undefeated in dual meets and placed sixth in the NCAC Championships, highlighted by a record-breaking performance by freshman Teagan O鈥機onnor.

Oral History Project: Evan Cameron '14
Evan Cameron 鈥14 was inspired by the community service opportunities at 杏吧原创. Through such work, students gain a sense of responsibility and empathy and also contribute to the well-being of the local community, experiencing personal growth that remains with them throughout their lives. For Evan, his experiences with the Lesotho service and study abroad program, Habitat for Humanity, and the Rocking Horse Center left a lasting impression on him. He also met his wife, Katharine Ritzi Cameron 鈥13, on the Lesotho trip. We鈥檙e grateful for alumni like Evan and Katharine who have supported 杏吧原创 throughout the years with a monthly gift to the University. .
